Engaged to complete a third refurbishment for Iglu Student accommodation the project scope at their Chatswood property consisted of enclosing two external terraces located on Level 1 and 11 to create an internal study and gym space. Built around new steel structural connected to existing building the Level 11 installation took place off carefully designed and engineered cantilevered scaffold to provide seamless integration of façade, structure and services.
The finish product design by Bates Smart Architecture provided a new level to finish to the building and was enjoyed by students from the onset.
