Xenia has recently completed a luxury private residential project under a Design and Construct agreement. The project involved construction of a four-storey home on an 850m² block in inner-Brisbane CBD. Approximately 1200m³ of excavation was required across the site with the main structure being reinforced concrete and masonry.
The design intent for the project, raw, natural construction materials, which is reflected by the use of timber cladding and flooring, natural stones and marbles, and vast areas of class 2 formwork to achieve the desired ‘off- form’ concrete aesthetic. Level 2 boasts an impressive open plan living and dining room with a custom wine cellar, dual kitchen, sunken lounge, and outdoor alfresco area. The alfresco is complemented by a fully suspended swimming pool, which is situated over two habitable rooms below.
Xenia has worked closely with the interior designers and structural engineers, along with various specialist subcontractors and suppliers in order to achieve a well-considered, high-quality outcome for our client.
